With over 20 years of experience in Brazil and globally, Barn Media was founded through a partnership between Parasol Broadcast and Lele Films. We are a production services company based in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in film, commercials, social media, and corporate videos.
Our talented team provides comprehensive services to bring your creative vision to life, handling everything from pre-production planning to post-production editing and media archiving with expertise.
Our reach spans the UK, Europe, United States, China, UAE, Panama, Ecuador, and Brazil, underscoring our commitment to delivering exceptional media solutions worldwide.
Meet the Team
Joe started his career in post production in London in 1999.
Working through the ranks he went on to work in senior technical managerial roles
for a number of independent post houses and all of the UK’s major broadcasters
before moving to Brazil in 2011 and founding Parasol Broadcast which has now
become Barn Media.
Since then he has continued to keep his foot in the UK Media market whilst
continuing with Production Services in Brazil. Joe’s skills lie in bridging the gap
between the requirements of international clients and Brazil’s creative talent.
Brazilian born, Raquel began her career in post production in the UK in
2005 working on prominent shows like "Dancing on Ice,"X Factor,” and
“Britain’s Got Talent.”
After moving back to Brazil, she transitioned into line producing large
scale projects, such as Facebook’s “The Curse of Akakor” and Netflix’s
“The Circle Brazil. Her expertise spans post-production, production,
Brazilian culture, laws and accounting. Complemented by fluency in
Portuguese and English, allowing her to excel in various aspects of
production.
Lerrania brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Barn Media.
Born in Minas Geris, Lerrania moved to Rio in her early twenties and
started working in the Cultural and Entertainment sector.
She has worked on a wide range of cultural events throughout Brazil and
Latin America and first worked in television production during the 2016
Rio Olympics.
Since then she has been working with us on all of our large scale
projects and smaller projects alike.
Lerrania’s in depth knowledge Brazil and of the local markets proves to
be a real asset to Barn Media.

We first worked with Sky Sports News in 2013 during a friendly football match between England and Brazil. We went onto partner with SSN during the Confederations Cup, The World Cup and The Rio Olympics.
